Scheduling an Appointment
- The Health Center operates on an appointment-based system.
- Please call 540.568.6178 to schedule an appointment.
- Provide us with your license plate number when making your appointment.
- If this is your first visit, bring all of your medication bottles to show the nurse.
- You will need to provide your JAC card to receive service.
- All payments are due at the time of service.
- Forms of payment accepted are cash, check, FLEX or **MC & Visa credit cards

**University policy requires that the name on the credit card used for payment must be the same as the person signing the credit card payment.
Parking
- If you are driving allow extra time to find parking.
- There are 13 parking spaces available for patient parking in Lot N3.
- Please allow additional time to find parking if not available at the Health Center
- If you park in a "Reserved UHC Patients Only" parking space, we will need your license plate number.
- Please be responsible in locating a parking space and arriving to your appointment on time for check-in. If you do not arrive on time for check-in, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and you will be subject to a $25 “Late-arrival” fee.
NEW! Handicapped parking procedure
For your convenience, please visit our Parking Services office located in the Champions Drive Parking Deck (540.568.3300) to obtain a temporary, two week only JMU issued handicap parking pass. Documentation is required for on-campus handicapped parking privileges.
Can't Make your appointment?
- If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us at least an hour's notice to avoid the $25.00 "No Show" fee. Email is not accepted for cancelling an appointment.
- If you are 5 minutes late or more for your appointment, your appointment will be re-scheduled and you will be charged a $25.00 fee
