Allergy Injections

Allergy injections are available by appointment Monday through Friday during the following hours: 8-11a.m. and 1-4p.m. You will need to call the JMU Health Center Allergy Clinic to make an appointment. New students using the allergy clinic will receive instructions as part of their allergy consultation appointment. There is a fee to administer allergy injections.

All new students receiving allergy injections are required to make an allergy appointment with the allergy nurse before injections are given. Call 540.568.2978 to make your appointment. You must bring your allergy vials and complete instructions with you. University Health Center will store and administer your vaccines according to your allergist's instructions.

Incoming freshman can drop off their vials and instructions, without an appointment, during orientation week in August. However, NO shots will be given that week. Please see the JMU Health Center Allergy Injection Patient Policy for other pertinent information.
