JMU Closings or delayed opening
WE'RE OPEN FOR BUSINESS...
IN THE EVENT OF A UNIVERSITY DELAYED OPENING OR AN ALL DAY CLOSING, THE HEALTH CENTER IS OPEN; AND ALL APPOINTMENTS WILL CONTINUE AS SCHEDULED.
However, please contact the University Health Center at 540.568.6178 to verify the status of your appointment PRIOR to a visit.
In addition, watch the main JMU website for opening and closing information regarding UHC. We will also post the Health Center hours on this page should they differ from our regular schedule.
No CHOICES Women's Health Program class will be held during the time that the University is officially closed.
If the Health Center is closed during the day or it is after our scheduled hours and you have a medical emergency, please contact Campus Police at 540.568.6911 or call 911. If you feel that you need immediate medical assistance there are several options available to you:
You can visit the Rockingham Memorial Hospital Emergency Room located adjacent to the Health Center,
or go to the Emergicare clinic located at 755 Cantrell Avenue (in the same building as Campbell Copy Center). The phone number for Emergicare is 540.432.9996.
