Post-Conflict Recovery Week Event Planning Internship (Unpaid)

**This position runs through fall 2017 and spring 2018 semesters and DOES NOT meet the criteria for the HM 402 internship. However, this position is a great resume builder!**

JMU’s Center for International Stabilization and Recovery (CISR) is seeking interns to assist with CISR’s annual Post-Conflict Recovery Week (PCRW), which will be held April 2-6, 2018. The theme of this year’s PCRW is “Being the Change,” presenting CISR/JMU alum who are currently working in the humanitarian and post-conflict field. Current JMU alum speakers include staff at the State Department, Peace Corps, and the Marshall Legacy Institute (Mine Detection Dogs). In addition, we will be hosting a “Mutts and Mines” event with MLI and local Harrisonburg businesses as well as an art exhibition, which will be featured at Clementine’s as part of Harrisonburg’s First Friday’s downtown. Previous PCRW posters are attached to provide an overview of past events.
