Calling all World Travelers and Photographers!
As the Office of International Programs becomes the Center for Global Engagement, we are happy to announce the 2017 International Week theme, “Global Engagement: Out of Many, One” along with the 17th annual I-Week Photo Contest. Though we are many and represent immense diversity that we should celebrate, our hope for the future lies in our ability to connect with one another and collaborate. Global engagement, after all, happens right here in our own communities, as well as abroad. Since 2000, members of the JMU community have submitted photographs documenting their travels around the globe.
Current students, faculty, staff and official affiliates of JMU are encouraged to submit their best photos to exemplify this year’s theme in the following four categories:
The deadline for submission of photos is Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time).

Reception: The I-Week Photo Contest reception, during which photo contest winners will be honored, will take place on Thursday, September 28, at 6:30 p.m., in Festival's Prism Gallery. (date and time are subject to change)
*Winning photos will be on display in the Prism Gallery during International Week, starting September 25, 2017.
