submission guidelines

e-Vision invites submissions from GWRIT 103 students on a semester-by-semester basis. Essays must be submitted during the semester of enrollment in GWRIT, with a deadline for submission each semester on the last day of finals week.

You've got a Spring GWRIT paper you meant to submit to e-Vision?

As noted on the e-Vision homepage, we want good writing, writing that you are proud of, writing that challenged you, and writing that will challenge your readers. What we do not need is "perfect writing," whatever that is. We at e-Vision believe that publication does not come after the writing process is over, but is instead part of the process. If your essay has potential, we'll work with you to get it ready for your wider audience*.

Electronic Submission Guidelines

  • In the body of your message, include your name, your PeopleSoft ID number, the title of your essay, your professor's name, and the semester of enrollment in GWRIT 103.
  • Attach your submission(s). Please do not paste essays in the body of the e-mail message.

* If your essay is chosen for publication, e-Vision editors will contact you during spring semester to initiate conversation.

e-Vision is published annually each spring. Essays submitted during the spring semester will therefore be considered for the next year's volume.
