Who is eligible?

  • People must live in Harrisonburg or Rockingham County

  • People who are low income and must obtain a job within three months

  • No health insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or Veterans

  • On disability or applying for disability

What services are available?

  • Medical Care, some medication - no
    controlled drugs

  • Dental - pulling of teeth only

  • Patient education

  • Referral

When can I visit?

  • Most visits are by appointment only.

  • Appointment calls must be in English.

How much does it cost?

  • The clinic asks for a donation of $3.00 for each prescription.

  • All other services are provided without cost.

  • Volunteer medical personnel staff the clinic.

What are the rules?

  • The Free Clinic does not see people who have been drinking alcohol.

  • Loud talking and abusive behavior is not allowed.

  • The Free Clinic has the right to refuse to see anyone who does not follow Free Clinic rules.
