ARC – Augusta, Inc
The Arc of Augusta, Inc. is a private non-profit agency that has served individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities (ID/DD) in Augusta County since 1960. Licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), we are a provider of a variety of educational, social, recreational and advocacy services.
Adult Care Center of Northern Shenandoah Valley
The Adult Care Center is a non-profit day program for adults who are coping with physical or cognitive challenges caused by Alzheimer's Disease, Stroke, or other conditions, and require supervision or assistance.
American Red Cross – Central Virginia Chapter
The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
American Red Cross – Shenandoah Chapter
The Shenandoah Chapter of the American Red Cross, serves residents of Shenandoah and Page counties. Services provided by the Chapter include disaster training, preparedness and response; emergency communication and financial assistance for members of the armed forces and their families; international services and tracing; a variety of CPR and first aid training programs for the community and workplace, water safety instructor and lifeguard training, babysitting and pet first aid courses.
Blue Ridge Hospice
Blue Ridge Hospice is a not-for-profit health care organization founded in 1981, providing physical, emotional, social and spiritual care for terminally ill patients and their families in the City of Winchester and the Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah, Page, and western Loudoun counties of Virginia. Blue Ridge Hospice is regarded as an integral part of the health services system in the northern Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area.
Boy Scouts of American – Shenandoah Area Council, Inc
Boy Scouts of America is chartered by US Congress as a non-profit educational program with a mission on instilling values in young people that prepare them to make lifetime ethical choices, achieving their full potential and learning the value of service to others. Using 98 year old proven small group methodology and mentoring, young men and young women in Scouting become better leaders, communicators, problem solvers, parents and citizens. The Shenandoah Area Council of Boy Scouts of America includes 3 counties in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and 6 counties in the Northern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
CASA – Central Valley/Augusta/Staunton
Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) is a public, non-profit charitable organization with a mission to make a difference in our community by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to serve as advocates for children whose families have been cited for abuse and neglect by the Augusta County, Staunton, Waynesboro, Lexington, Rockbridge County, Covington and Alleghany County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.

The Collins Center encourages healthy relationships and promotes the safety and well-being of individuals and the community through its programs: The Sexual Assault Crisis Program, Prevention Programs and the Child Advocacy Center.

DOGS-East is a professional volunteer wilderness Search and Rescue organization serving primarily the Mid-Atlantic Region and on-call for natural disasters in the continental United States.

Elkton Area United Services
Elkton Area United Services (EAUS) is a comprehensive service agency serving the area by provides assistance with housing, electricity, heat, food, GED classes, school supplies, books, transportation, aid to stranded travelers, senior citizen activities and a joyful holiday season. EAUS tries to develop programs where a need exists and tries to meet the needs of an ever-changing community. The organization is supported by donations from the community and the Harrisonburg-Rockingham County United Way and proceeds from the Treasures for Everyone Thrift Store.
Food Bank – Blue Ridge Area
The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank exists for a few very simple reasons: Food sustains life. It restores options. It provides hope. We are an emergency food assistance agency that serves an average of 92,000 people each month, a record in the Food Bank’s history. Last year, we distributed nearly 14 million meals to hungry families across the Blue Ridge. We expect to serve even more this year.

Habitat for Humanity – Central Valley
Central Valley Habitat for Humanity, Inc. is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International serving Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. Since 1988, CVHfH has built simple, affordable homes for sale at no profit and no interest in partnership with volunteers, churches, businesses, civic groups, and the future homeowners who help build their own houses. Central Valley Habitat is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. We depend on contributions, donated land and materials, and volunteer labor to keep construction costs low.
Mercy House
Mercy House is a nonprofit organization with multiple programs combating poverty and homelessness in our community. Programs include Shelter Services, Aftercare and Transitional Housing and Rental and Mortgage Assistance for the Community.

The Rockingham-Harrisonburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was founded August, 1972 in order to provide general assistance to animals and the public. Their mission is to promote respect, compassion, education and advocacy resulting in a humane and sustainable environment for all animals.
Salvation Army – Waynesboro/East Augusta
The Salvation Army of Waynesboro and East Augusta County serves Waynesboro, Stuarts Draft, Fisherville, and the surrounding communities with compassionate care and service to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of all people.
Shenandoah Valley Spay/Neuter Center
The Shenandoah Valley Spay/Neuter Clinic is committed to ending the euthanasia of healthy, treatable cats and dogs. Our experienced and compassionate surgical team provides high quality, low cost spay and neuter services. As we specialize exclusively in this field, our staff is exceptionally skilled at performing spay and neuter surgeries. We utilize the highest standards of care to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet during his or her stay at the Clinic. The Clinic also offers low cost vaccinations and other additional services at the time of surgery, as well as a transport unit, low cost Wellness Clinics and a Pet Food Pantry.

Valley Program for Aging Services, Inc.
Valley Program for Aging Services is the Area Agency on Aging for the Cities of Buena Vista, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Staunton, and Waynesboro and the Counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge and Rockingham.
VPAS helps individuals 60 years and older, and their families and caregivers, to live at home, while maintaining a high quality of life, by providing services which support their independence.
