Health Services Administration Alumna is Honored
The HSA Program is pleased to announce that Carrie Owen Plietz, FACHE (HSA,
1997) has received the 2010 Robert S. Hudgens Memorial Award for the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year, given by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Carrie is presently the Chief Operating Officer, Mills-Peninsula Health Services/Sutter Health System, Burlingame, California. Carrie has worked for the Sutter Health System since 1999, and previously worked for the Bon Secours Richmond Health System in Virginia.
Carrie has had many significant accomplishments in her health administration career. Congratulations to Carrie for this well-deserved award! She received her award at the ACHE 2010 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, held in Chicago in March, 2010.
