Academic Open House Held

Open House 05The College of Integrated Science and Technology and the College of Science and Math jointly hosted JMU's first Academic Open House on September 24, 2005.

The Open House was held in collaboration with the Office of Admissions. Prospective students were given the opportunity to listen to a general presentation about JMU. Afterwards, the academic buildings on JMU's east campus were opened up to the hundreds of parents and prospective students attending the event. An information fair was held in the main spine of the building. Student organizations and academic departments were on hand to display posters and answer questions.

After the information fair, each department gave a formal presentation.
