Human Performance Lab Press Release

 Only several weeks into a brand new school year and the Human Performance Lab already boasts a packed agenda.  With current projects, research in-review and research in-preparation, proponents of the lab plan on covering a myriad of topics.  Presenting information that would benefit athletes of any age, the lab is currently reviewing the project, “Does protein belong in the endurance athletes’ water bottle?” amidst exploration of new data, including the “Efficacy of chocolate milk as a recovery beverage during intensified training in soccer players.”  Among their recently published research includes, “Influence of Carbohydrate-Protein Beverage on Cycling Endurance and Indices of Muscle Disruption,” and “Effect of a family-based intervention on electronic media use and body composition among boys 8 to 11 years old: a pilot study.”
