Faculty Research Day to be Held October 6, 2006
Geospatial Reasoning and Spatial Thinking Initiative; Exploring whether there is an auditory correlate to tunnel vision; Psychological Distress in Nursing Students during Clinical Rotations. These and many other faculty research projects from JMU's College of Integrated Science and Technology will be featured in the fourth annual CISAT Faculty Research Day, to be held on October 6, 2006 from 1 to 3 p.m. on the first floor (along the spine) of the ISAT/CS Building. Faculty will present posterboard descriptions of their research projects and will be available to answer questions.
"The last three years have been a tremendous success," said CISAT Dean Jerry Benson. "Faculty are able to learn more about the types of scholarship projects going on within the college and make connections between their own research interests and those of other faculty - connections that help address the inherently cross-disciplinary problems of everyday life."
Join us to see how effectively the College's faculty integrate scholarship, teaching and service, and their active engagement of students in this research.
