CISAT Faculty and Staff Purchase Gifts for 60 Needy Children as Holiday Project
CISAT chose as our holiday project to purchase gifts for the children in the Social Services system who are members of families that could be homeless, in foster care, or just in need of a helping hand this season.
There are at least 200 children in our community in the Social Services system during this season. You'll be happy to know that CISAT provided gifts for 60 children !! Some of the gifts requested by the children included dolls, barbies, trucks, bikes, big wheels, games, stuffed animals, clothes, and shoes.
Most everyone commented on how much they enjoyed shopping for the child that they chose. The gifts were delivered to the Social Services Dept on Monday, December 9th. We sincerely thank everyone who participated.
