Dean's Faculty Advisory Council

The Dean's Faculty Advisory Council will be comprised of at least one faculty member from each of the academic units within the College (to be selected by processes agreed upon within that unit) plus other faculty invited to serve by virtue of their service/leadership on other College level committees and groups. The Dean serves as a member of this body. The Chair of the Council shall be a faculty member selected by the Council. The Council will provide the Dean advice relative to the ongoing functioning and long range planning for the College, inclusive of program development and performance, resource allocation, policies and practices of the College, and the continuing evaluation of the College's progress. The Council is one means of ensuring faculty input into considerations and decision-making at the College level, and ensuring communication of information and perspectives to the faculty.
