Resume Writing Workshops

This provides a one-hour introduction to writing a resume. You do not need to have a resume written to attend this workshop. However, attending the workshop with a first draft completed can be beneficial so that you can make edits as needed. Academic and career advisors do not review resumes during this workshop, but you can review your resume based on what you learn. There is no RSVP required to attend the workshop.

Resume Review Events

Resume Review Events offer brief, 10-15 minute individual meetings with CAP advisors to provide you with feedback on your resume in various locations around campus. Resumes are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis, so no appointments are made. Bring a copy of your resume with you.

Resume Appointments

Resume appointments offer a 30 minute individual meeting with an advisor in Career & Academic Planning to provide you with feedback on your resume. At minimum, you need to have a first draft of your resume completed to schedule an appointment. Bring a copy of your resume with you to the appointment.  You can schedule an appointment on Handshake.
