A student may need an override to get into a class for either of two reasons: (1) the class is closed or (2) the student does not satisfy the prerequisite as it is entered in the registration system.

1.  Closed (filled) classes
During the early enrollment period, students should request an override by sending an email message to Dr. Chris Fox. After that, students should contact the course's instructor.

2.  Waiving prerequisites
Students that want to waive a prerequisite should contact the course's instructor. Normally, prerequisites are NOT waived except for exceptional circumstances.

Senior Project Guidelines

The Senior Project Guidelines document contains guidelines and rules for students who are majoring in Computer Science and working on a "Senior Honors Capstone". It is a supplement to the Senior Honors Project information published by the JMU Honors College.
