Set up Your JMU E-mailThe Individualized Study Major uses e-mail to keep you up-to-date on program news and events James Madison University uses "Webmail" as its e-mail program. As a JMU student, you receive automatic and free e-mail through the University's Webmail system. You must activate the account to use it. If there is another e-mail address that you use all of the time, just forward your Webmail to it.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) PolicyCLEP tests give you the opportunity to take a test in a subject you know and earn college credit. You may incorporate this "non-Traditional" method of earning credit into your program agreement.

Calendar of EventsThe ISM program offers several special events and workshops throughout the year. Senior Project Forums are held on the last Friday of the Spring and Fall semesters, and the Spring Awards Banquet takes place each April. All three events recognize and honor the hard work of ISM students, and family and friends are welcome to attend any or all.
In addition, Portfolio workshops, pizza and portfolio nights, and Senior Project workshops are regularly scheduled throughout the semesters. Special workshops in career planning, stress management and other areas are also being planned.
