Spring 2021 Parking Permits

Beginning today, you may purchase your Spring 2021 parking permit quickly and conveniently online at jmu.edu/parking/wptermsofusepurchase. The cost of a Spring 2021 full-time semester permit is $113.00. If you purchase your permit online between today and January 31, it will be mailed to your local address or JMU mailbox.

To ensure that your parking permit is mailed to the correct address when purchasing online, please verify that your local mailing address is correct prior to purchase by logging on to MyMadison  (mymadison.jmu.edu) and choosing the “Student Center” option under the Student tab. Be sure that the address is current and is a valid mailing address to avoid delays in receiving your parking permit.

Due to our ongoing efforts to promote social distancing, Parking Services strongly encourages customers to purchase their permits online for local delivery. Occupancy in the Parking Services lobby will be strictly limited, and customers purchasing or picking up permits in person should anticipate delays.

Students who choose not to purchase semester permits have a number of alternatives available for parking on campus. Commuter Evening permits allow parking on weekdays after 4:00 PM, and all day on weekends, at a cost of $38.00. Single day permits are available for $5.00 per day, and can be purchased at Parking Services on the day needed, or in advance. Pay stations available throughout campus provide short-term metered parking; in addition to accepting cash, credit card or JAC, pay stations can now be paid using the ParkMobile phone app.
