(Africa Defense Forum) In the remote northern Ethiopian town of Adi Hageray in the Tigray region, fourteen-year-old Abel and his friends discovered a hazardous device while playing. The incident resulted in injuries for Abel and others, highlighting the ongoing threat of unexploded ordnance from the civil war in Tigray, which persists despite the conflict ending over a year ago.
