Japan extends support to landmine clearance operation in southern Lebanon and Baalbek-Hermel Governorate

(National News Agency) The Government of Japan extends a total of 1,295,509 dollars in grants to support landmine clearance operations in Arsal, Baalbek District, Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, and in Marwahin and Al-Dhaira, Tyre District, South Governorate. On December 15, 2021, Ambassador Takeshi Okubo signed grant agreements with Dan Church Aid Lebanon and Mines Advisory Group Lebanon.
