Childhood under attack

SUMMARY: Early 2011 in the city of Daraa, southern Syria, 15 children were arrested for painting anti-government graffiti on the walls of a school. Their words read: “the people want to bring down the regime”. For such words they are beaten, their fingernails torn out, and they are tortured for weeks.
