JMU Board of Visitors to meet virtually Friday, May 15, 2020

JMU Headlines

The James Madison University Board of Visitors will hold a meeting by electronic communications on Friday, May 15, 2020, at 1 p.m., in accordance with Item 4-0.01.g of the 2020 Amendments to the 2019 Appropriation Act.

The amendment provides governing boards the ability to meet by electronic communication means without a quorum of the public body or any member of the governing board physically assembled at one location when the Commonwealth is under a State of Emergency, the nature of which makes it unsafe to meet in-person.

No public comment will be taken at the meeting. The meeting will be held in open session.

To view or listen to the meeting, use this link, or dial +1-415-655-0003 (US TOLL) or +1-855-282-6330 (US TOLL FREE) and use event number: 614 299 356.
