University closed on March 21, 2018

Due to the inclement weather, James Madison University will be closed on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. 

The university has designated Saturday, April 14, 2018, as the official makeup day for classes canceled on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Faculty members have several options for making up missed instructional time. They can:

• Hold class on the official university makeup day. 
• Hold class at another time acceptable to class members. The faculty member’s department will arrange the time and location.
• Hold class electronically using a web-based source.
• Accommodate for missed instructional time within remaining class meeting times. 

Students should check with their professors to determine how missed classes will be accommodated.
