Flooding possible in certain areas on campus

The National Weather Service is predicting periods of heavy rainfall through Friday morning. Heavy rain may cause flash flooding in certain areas of campus including the areas near Godwin Transit Center, Mr. Chips, Hillside Field, Duke Dog Alley and the Arboretum.  

Should flooding occur, please avoid the area and follow instructions from public safety personnel. Do not attempt to walk or drive through flood waters due to potential electric shock, unseen debris, environmental hazards and possible swift currents.
