Make-up days for canceled classes announced

Official make-up days for classes canceled due to Winter Storm Jonas have been announced:

• Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 is the official make-up day for classes canceled on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 as the result of the university closing.
• Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 is the official make-up day for classes canceled on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 as the result of the university closing.
• Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 is the official make-up day for classes canceled on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 as the result of classes starting at 11 a.m.

Faculty members have several options for making up missed instructional time. They can:

• Hold class on the official university makeup day. 
• Hold class at another time acceptable to class members. The faculty member’s department will arrange the time and location.
• Hold class electronically using a web-based source.
• Accommodate for missed instructional time within remaining class meeting times.

Students should check with their professors to determine how missed classes will be accommodated.
