University designates makeup day for canceled classes (Updated)

The university has designated Saturday, Mar. 21, 2015, and Saturday, Mar. 28, 2015 as the official makeup days for classes canceled on Thursday, Mar. 5, and Friday, Mar. 6. Faculty members have several options for making up missed instructional time. They can:

• Hold class on the official university makeup day.
• Hold class at another time acceptable to class members. The faculty member’s department will arrange the time and location.
• Hold class electronically using a web-based source.
• Accommodate for missed instructional time within remaining class meeting times. 

Students should check with their professors to determine how missed classes will be accommodated.
