Obama's Foreign Policy Adviser Lectures at JMU Feb. 9
NewsHARRISONBURG - The James Madison University College Democrats will sponsor a campus visit by a foreign policy adviser to Barack Obama's presidential campaign Saturday, Feb. 9.
Susan Rice will lecture on foreign policy and why she supports Obama in the presidential election at 11 a.m. in Room 1301, Health and Human Services Building.
Rice is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institute. She served as assistant secretary of state for African affairs from 1997 to 2001 and special assistant to the president and senior director for African affairs from 1995 to 1997.
Rice will also take questions from the audience.
