MBA advances in national rankings
MBA 18 ranking

The MBA program proudly announces it ranks No. 18 in the 2024 edition of "Best Online MBA Programs" by U.S. News & World Report. The program moves up one spot from the 2023 rankings. Read more about this impressive accomplishment.

Keychain Lead

This year, new graduate students found it easier to find resources needed to settle in Harrisonburg and be successful in graduate school. Upon arrival, each student received a keychain with a QR code linked to information on The Graduate School website. These keychains were made possible by generous donations received during Giving Tuesday 2022. Read more.

Students and faculty from JMU’s Psychological Science, M.A. and Assessment and Measurement, Ph.D. programs, connected with JMU alumni at the Northeastern Educational Research Association meeting where they made eight research presentations, and received the Best Paper award. Read more.

JMU valor

JMU VALOR supports over 1,300 active military, veterans, and their families. This JMU program aids in academic and personal growth and helps foster a sense of community and belonging, as exemplified by the active participation of its members in university events like JMU's first bowl game. December commencement

The Graduate School celebrated 174 master’s and doctoral graduates during December commencement. MBA, Physician Assistant and Occupational Therapy were the top three programs with the most graduates. Congratulations to our new alumni!
