As summer approaches I wanted to provide this reminder that both the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institute of Health (NH) requires that students (Undergraduate, Graduate, and PostDoc) involved in research complete Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training before receiving support from these agencies.  JMU offers RCR training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) at https://citiprogram.org/login.asp?strKeyID=216AE6E9-4D61-45CD-8BE7-4FEF567FCC24-4673016&language=english Students should not participate in Research until this training is complete and failure to provide proof of RCR training will result in withholding of a student’s financial support.

New Vertebrate Animal Section Factsheet to Assist Applicants

Preparing the Vertebrate Animal Section (VAS) is a new factsheet developed by OLAW to assist applicants in completing the VAS of grant applications, contract proposals and cooperative agreements for submission to the NIH.
