Established by Francis X. Farrell '82 and Mary Carter Farrell '84 to provide the financial resources to establish & support an endowed scholarship to be known as The Frank & Eva Farrell Endowed Scholarship in Nursing. The gift creating this scholarship is made to commemorate their lifetime service to others in need.

The Donors' intention is to provide scholarship support for undergraduate students whose chosen field of study and research is Nursing, a major discipline within the College of Integrated Science & Technology. In each academic year, there will be one outstanding undergraduate student scholar designated as the Farrell Scholar. Once the scholarship is awarded, so long as the student remains a Nursing student in good standing with the Department, the scholarship may be renewed for up to two more academic years. The appointment of a student as a Farrell Scholar shall follow the University's guidelines for the awarding of scholarships.
