What is "Transfer 1787"?
It was August 1787 when James Madison and his buddies met in Philadelphia and wrote the U.S. Constitution. Through wigs and wooden teeth, they made a tremendous transition! This country was never the same, and you won't be either after your time at 1787. JMU August Orientation is called 1787 because the month of August will bring tremendous transitions for you. Take a look at the Transfer 1787 schedule to see what opportunities abound during Transfer 1787! |

Here's How It Works… |
Transfer 1787 August Orientation will begin on Friday, August 26 for all new transfer students. This is a very exciting time and opportunity to meet new friends, reconnect with your ANTS, and really learn your way around campus so you won't be lost on the first day of classes. So, block off August 26-28, 2011 on your calendar because we have some neat things planned for you!
