JMU Alumni UREC Gameday Experience


 

JMU Alumni, take part in the first ever "UREC Gameday Experience!" This is your chance to come back to UREC and experience the new and renovated spaces that our current students enjoy. We’ve planned a variety of activities that you and your family can enjoy before tailgating and the game. Bring your active gear and swimsuits to get the most out of your visit.

9:00-11:30 am

Registration is required via the JMU Alumni Site!

Freshen’s and Starbucks will be open if you would like to start with breakfast us.

Adventure Center
Test your climbing abilities on the free standing climbing and bouldering walls. Climbing routes are available for all skill and experience levels.

Aquatics Center
There is a new pool which features a jetted fitness channel and a hot tub that seats over 30 individuals. Log rolling and paddle boarding will also be available to try.

Drop-In Sports
Stop by the UREC Sports Forum’s 1 & 2 to play! We will have games such as badminton, table tennis and pickle ball set up for you to enjoy. Equipment will be provided.

Family Fun Center
UREC Multi-Activity Center 3: UREC’s MAC 3 will be fun for all the family. We will have a variety of family activities for children and adults to enjoy in this location.

Group Exercise
Whether you’re looking for a quick workout or to simply have some fun, we will have the Group Exercise class for you! Our energetic instructors are eager to get your Homecoming Saturday started off the right way. Please be on time for these classes as the doors will lock at the start time!

  • 9:15am-9:45am: Yoga – Mind/Body Studio 1
  • 10:00am-10:30am – HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) – Group Exercise Studio 1
  • 10:30am-11:00am – Cardio Dance Party – Group Exercise Studio 2

Fitness Center
Our state of the art new equipment will be available to you along with our new track. This area is for ages 14 and up.
