Student does research with the Alvin V. Baird Attention and Learning Disabilities Center

With this short video, Allison Brandmark explains so much about the deep learning that occurs through Baird Center research and services.  Lessons are revealed by the children who are clients of the Center, by the faculty whose collaboration fuels the Center, and by the front row observational seat that offers students flashes of understanding that can bring textbook content to life.  As a program of the Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services, the Baird Center models interprofessional practice and exemplifies the kind of engaged learning that Allison describes.
