Over $6 million donated to CMAC for clearing of cluster munitions

(Khmer Times) CMAC saw more than $6 million in funding for its cluster clearing missions in seven provinces from the Norwegian People Aid (NPA).

The Director General of the Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC), Heng Ratana, met with Resident Representative of the Norwegian People Aid (NPA), Rune Kristian Dale-Andresen, on March 9 to sign a cooperation between NPA and CMAC.

The CMAC Director General stated that the US Government has decided to provide more than $6.35 million in grant funding through the NPA to support its cluster munition clearing activities. The grant will last for a 45-month period – from March 1 to November 2025.
