Hiiraan governor accused of killing Mine action staffer

"The governor of Hiiraan regional administration Abdifatah Hassan Afrah has been accused of being behind the assassination of an employee working for Mine action in Beldweyne city.
Confirming the incident, an elder called Abdi Farah has told local Radio that the bodyguards of Hiiraan governor have shot and killed Mahdi Hussein Shikhal at Tawo Tako village on Saturday afternoon.
The slain mine action staffer has been in talks with local community leaders in Beledweyne city before he was killed by Hiiraan governor’s security guards on saturday, according to the elder."
