JMU Wins Awards at Virginia Nursing Student Association Convention

For the 5th year in a row, a JMU student has won the Student Nurse of the Year Awardfor Virginia. Hollie Sandone was recognized this weekend at the Virginia Nursing Student Association (VNSA) convention.
JMU also won the "Most Active Chapter" Award for the state.
Professor Melissa Leisen won the Faculty Appreciation Award, which is nominated and selected by students across the state.
In addition to the awards, four JMU students were elected to the Board of Directors for the VNSA.
