Today’s MLK, Jr. speaker event at JMU moved online due to weather

HARRISONBURG, Va. — Brenda Salter McNeil, a professor of reconciliation studies at Seattle Pacific University, will be the keynote speaker to kickoff Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Week at JMU. 

Due to the inclement weather, the event will be aired online at the regularly scheduled time, 6 p.m. The livestream will be available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn0PH4x0pEs.

There will not be an event for the public at Wilson Hall as previously scheduled.

The event is sponsored by JMU’s Center for Multicultural Student Services and the Madison Vision Series to honor the life and legacy of King.
