JMU's strategic plan for 2014-2020
Where we are
- June, the Board of Visitors will meet and discuss our current planning progress
- September, the five MFC committees will submit their final reports
- October, the BOV will meet to review the draft plan
- After that, departments will begin the work of drafting objectives to meet the plan's goals
Our Purpose
Welcome to the home of the Madison Future Commission, a group of more than 150 faculty, staff, students, former faculty, alumni, former Board of Visitors members, and community members who will be working to propose the university’s new strategic plan for 2014-2020.
Our assignment: Create a bold working strategic plan that aligns core qualities, objectives, and action steps in support of the university’s mission and vision and anchored to the university’s values.
The strategic plan will:
Directly further our mission and vision
Represent a spirit of fearless innovation
Be the work of true community
Align all university planning
