Research Interest:


  • Dr. Hargensí research interests concern the physiological mechanisms that link chronic disease.† Specifically, his research has explored how sleep, sleep disordered breathing, and obesity impacts cardiovascular and autonomic function, particularly during exercise.† In addition, he has an interest in how these chronic conditions affect physical activity habits, and how increasing physical activity and exercise can positively impact those with chronic disease.
