JMU Hosts Advanced Photon Source Research Conference

A research conference exploring ultrafast events, electronic and phonon excitations, relaxation phenomena and out-of-equilibrium dynamics in complex and strongly correlated systems will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at the Festival Conference and Student Center.

The research is applicable to a number of scientific fields, including solid state physics, materials science, chemistry, biology and geology.
