Annual Faculty-Staff Picnic – Monday, August 23, 2010

JMU’s annual faculty-staff picnic will be held on Monday, August 23.

Faculty and staff are invited to bring their immediate family. The picnic will begin at 5 p.m. and conclude at 8 p.m. on the Festival Conference and Student Center rear lawn. JMU will provide a picnic-style dinner, dessert and non-alcoholic beverages as well as beer and wine.

Parking will be available in lots D5, C10 and C12.

Harrisonburg’s community-based band Just Jazzin’ will perform from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This 20-member ensemble will perform “big band” and contemporary swing and Latin tunes.

In the event of severe weather conditions, the picnic will be held indoors in the lower and upper levels of the Festival Conference and Student Center.
