South Main Street Roadwork to Affect Traffic June 28-July 2

Crews from the City of Harrisonburg will do roadwork on South Main Street from June 28 through July 2, 2010, that may result in traffic delays.

The street will remain open, but milling (removing the existing surface) and resurfacing work will affect traffic flow.

The schedule for the work, weather permitting, is:

June 28-29 – Milling the road between railroad tracks in front of Buffalo Wild Wings to Cantrell Avenue.

June 30-July 2 – Resurfacing road between railroad tracks in front of Buffalo Wild Wings to Cantrell Avenue.

June 30 – Milling between railroad tracks on Grace Street and Main Street; once road is prepared, repaving of surface will begin.
