Acoustics, Aeronautics, and the Atmosphere
Developments in the science of sound were at their peak in the 18th & 19th centuries. This process of scientific inquiry led to an enduring and symbiotic relationship between acoustics and atmospheric science, some aspects of which will be presented in this talk.
