HBO's "Def Poetry Jam" Poets to Perform August 27 at Festival

In collaboration with Urbintel, Inc., here comes positive and thought-provoking entertainment through the art of poetry. Poets featured on HBO’s hit series “Def Poetry Jam” will be performing spoken word covering topics ranging from love, race, religion, and other various topics.

Come share your poetry at Open Mic right before the show at 6:30 p.m. with the show following at 7:00pm. Signups are available the week of the show and are located in Center for Multicultural Student Services (Warren Hall, Room 245).

The program is free and open to the public.
