6:00 PM | ISAT 159: Locally Owned and Operated Renewable Energy. A facilitated discussion about localizing energy production as a strategy for energy sustainability. Joe Reinhart will explore current and future models for small scale, localized energy production for a sustainable tomorrow.
7:00 PM | ISAT 159: Sustainable Economics Panel. Local currencies, worker-owned businesses, local sustainable food, and green business representatives will share insights into how we can make our economy green for the long haul. Presenters include worker owners of The Little Grill Collective and the Fire Storm Collective, members of Asheville LETS (local currency program).

11:00 AM - 2:00 PM | On the Commons: Renewable Energy Fair. We will have a wind energy demo, the bio-trike (3 wheeled motorcycle that runs on bio-diesel), bagel bites cooked by a solar oven, Tire pressure demonstration, Energy Efficiency demonstration, and a CFL give-a-way (limited). Many other handouts will also be provided.
