The House of Privilege is an experiential museum that will be set up in Chandler Hall. Participants are lead through multiple rooms where they will witness different types of privilege. Opportunities for positive engagement with these social issues will be offered as well. The experience lasts 45 -minutes to an hour and will be offered continuously from 7:30 - 9:40 p.m.
This event assists students and faculty in recognizing how to actively address these issues.
Timed tour tickets can be picked up from Chandler Hall as early as 6 p.m. on either night. Simply ask for a ticket and then come back at the specified time to take your tour. Limited group reservations are available for Monday or Tuesday night between 6 and 7:30; contact Chris Orem (oremcd@jmu.edu) to see if there is still space for your group of 15 or less.
