The All Together One Award is presented to students, staff, faculty and other community members each year in the Spring. Those nominated best exemplify the motto of the university – All Together One. The ceremony includes 1) the story about each winner, read on The Commons at 12 noon on April 7, and 2) the presentation of a stone to be placed in The Commons Circle with the name of the winner and the year of the award. You may honor someone in this way by sending in your nomination.
The All Together One Nomination deadline has been extended to Friday, March 6, at 5 pm. Any member of the JMU community may nominate any other member. To help structure your nomination, please include the following information about your nominee:
1.Building community – making a positive difference at JMU
2.Inspiring others – affecting your life or the lives of others
3.Working toward the common good at JMU
The awards will be presented on Tuesday, April 7 at 12 noon on The Commons. In case of inclement weather the ceremony will be moved indoors to Grafton -Stovall Theatre.
