In-depth Summer Work Sessions
Participate in a hands-on, instructional technology based work session. The session will provide you with time and resources to create course content. CIT staff will be available to help you produce the content and effectively incorporate it into your course. Each work session will include free lunch and books or software relevant to the session.

CIT East Opens August 11
CIT will be opening a second location on the fifth floor of the new
East Campus Library. In addition to the many services already offered,
the CIT East Campus will provide:
- Close and easy access for East Campus faculty
- Greater capability for video and audio projects
- Technology-rich, comfortable Faculty Seminar Room
Both locations will continue to offer the many services currently enjoyed by JMU faculty:
- Instructional Technology Workshops and individualized house calls led by highly skilled facilitators
- Individual and small group consultation with a CIT Instructional Technologist
- Research and experimentation with emerging technologies
- Distance Learning support
- Walk-in services including-
..... Specialized document scanning and 35mm slide scanning
..... Video importing, recording, editing and publishing
..... Assistance with wide variety of media and web technologies
