JMU uses RSS feeds to publish frequently updated content (JMU news, athletics, or other articles). You might be familiar with RSS if you've ever subscribed to someone's blog or personalized an iGoogle page.
An RSS document - called a "feed," "web feed," or "channel," -
contains either a summary of content from a specific site or the
full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their
favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking
them manually.
