SCHEV's Institutional Performance Standards
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia, in cooperation with the public 2- and 4-year institutions, developed institutional
performance standards to address state-wide priorities: access, affordability, academic offerings, academic standards, student progress and success,
economic development, research, enhancing K-12 education.
Institutions that meet these performance standards will be granted greater management, curricular and fiscal autonomy.
